Today was an awesome day of worship at church. David did an amazing job leading in worship. You should go check out his new CD because it is completely awesome. CrossRoads is a neat place for Christians to get together. I think were all starting to realize though that although reaching each other through encouragement is good, it is time to reach a community that is so desperate and needing to be loved. Rich said it best in this post about having 162,000 unchurched people in Greenville county.

I was downtown a few weekends ago getting my hair did by Melody and I saw some local radicals (I call it like I see it) standing on the street with signs saying the most controversial statements. My heart broke as I saw it because it gives Christians such a bad name. The lost think that is what is what we think about them. “Know Jesus or go to hell”. Okay, sure I agree that if you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus that you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. If I didn’t know Jesus my life would be all kinds of screwed up. I seriously wanted to get out of my car and rip that sign out of that guys hands. If the kingdom is forcefully advancing just as Jesus said it is. How far is to far? As men of faith… How far should we go to protect the vision and truth of Jesus Christ. It is a thought I ponder sometimes.
