Lord you amaze me how you work. I think you have brought me into a new season. I understand that sometimes you put us in deserts and ask us to seek you until we find you. Well Lord, I found you, I found you again and you haven’t changed. You are as mighty and powerful as you ever have been. You sent your spirit upon me and in that place I truly experienced freedom. I still feel it too. The funny thing is I always find you when I have a billion things on my plate. Things that I think matter but truly don’t.

Maybe I should think things differently. I just see that if I can encourage someone today that that is better than the mundane things that the world has. Sure school is important… but is it? School teaches me how to say hello and goodbye in Spanish (not kidding) and the Lord shows me how to encourage someone for a lifetime. I have always been a fan of things of eternal value and not temporary.

I know right now that the Lord has me where he wants me. He’s teaching and growing me. The million dollar question is, Lord where do I go? Where do you want me to work? Where do you want me to live? Do you want me to actually graduate? Who am I suppose to encourage? Lord, speak to my heart… speak in my life, speak in the depths of my soul and let me never turn from you.
